Anthony Nguyen is a Shareholder of Shegerian & Associates, a prominent Los Angeles based law firm specializing in employment law and protecting employees against discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
Identified as one of the Most Influential Minority Attorneys by Los Angeles Business Journal, 2019 and 2023 Trial Lawyer of the Year nominee Anthony has dedicated his career to fighting for the underdog.
As an experienced trial lawyer, Anthony has won over eighty-seven million dollars across numerous single plaintiff jury trials, including eight seven figure verdicts and two eight figure verdicts. He also holds the 2018 record for the highest wrongful termination verdict in California.
Previously referred to as "Slick" and "Savage" by jurors, Anthony lives to be in the courtroom. Outside the courtroom, however, Anthony has also secured over eighty million dollars in settlements for his clients.
Since 2017, Anthony has consistently been selected as a Super Lawyers "Rising Star," which is given to the top 2.5 percent of lawyers in the industry under the age of 40, before now being recognized as one of California's prominent "Super Lawyers." He has also been recognized as an Up and Coming 100 Attorneys in Southern California.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Anthony grew up in Los Angeles, California. Raised in a small single bedroom apartment by his two blue-collar parents, Anthony came face to face with the many socio-economic discrepancies that minorities often experienced and saw firsthand the ramifications of social injustice and discrimination. In response, Anthony vowed to combat such inequalities through the inspiration of witnessing his parents' unwavering work ethic and values in the face of such adversity.
Now, as an advocate for others, Anthony believes that every victim has a story.
And every story deserves to be heard.
